Year 5 - Golden Lion Tamarin
Welcome to our class
Wow! I can't believe I am welcoming you back to term 6! This year seems to have gone by so quickly. We will be focusing on the topic of Pollution this term and looking at the responsibility we all have to look after our planet.
Within this we will be completing work in Science, English and Guided Reading around this topic and have a visitor coming in to help us understand more about the issue of pollution facing our town.
In this term we will be focusing on:
Term One: World Explorers
Term Two: Keep Calm and Carry On!
Term Three: I want my Mummy!
Term Four: Who let the Gods out!
Term Five: Destination outer space
Term Six: A pollution solution
As with previous terms we will be sharing Dave as our Learning Support with the Snow Leopards class.
PE will be on Wednesday and Friday. There will also be spellings each week and home learning activities set on Purple Mash which will be linked into both maths and our topic area.
