Welcome to Snow Leopards Class
Welcome back! Neil and I (Naomi) are delighted to be teaching Year 6 at Parklands Educate Together this year. It promises to be an exciting and rewarding final year for your child/children and we are so thrilled to be working with you all.

This year, our curriculum will explore a wide range of fascinating topics:
Term 1: The World at War (World War II)
Term 2: Oh Maya God! (The Maya Civilisation)
Term 3: Terrible Tyrants (The Tudors)
Term 4: Staycation or Vacation (Comparative Geography Study)
Term 5: Rushing Rivers (Geography – Rivers)
Term 6: Footsteps of the Past (Science – Evolution)
PE Days
Tuesday: Swimming at Hutton Moor in the morning and PE with Lauran in the afternoon
Please ensure your child comes to school wearing appropriate PE kit on these days.
We’re looking forward to a brilliant year ahead with the children. Thank you for your continued support.
Trip: We have our school trip booked for Wednesday 16th September going back in time and becoming a real life evacuee! We will be travelling to Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway (GL54 5LD). It makes the experience even better if we all come dressed in 1940s style costume.
